Freya Palmer


Freya is a researcher within the Bristol Interaction & Graphics (BIG) group at the University of Bristol. She currently works on the University of Local Knowledge project as researcher and co-ordinator, working from the University’s BIG Lab’ and also Knowle West Media Centre.
Freya has a BSc Psychology and an MSc Human Communication & Computing from the University of Bath, and continued to further postgraduate research as part of the Human-Computer Interaction research group in the Department of Computer Science at Bath.
Freya has always been fascinated by all aspects of design, but particularly our relationship with technology. Her research interests include social computing, and identity and technology – especially the relationship of place with mobile, pervasive and online technology.
